getting this off my chest

I DO NOT LIKE PINKING SHEARS!

pinking shears: instrument of torture

Every pair I have ever used is hard to open and close. I am working on a mini-project for the second graders: panels which will be decorated and "quilted" into an altar cloth for First Communion (thank the Lord I am not doing the quilting - whew!) and each panel must be pinked on all sides. The bone at the joint on my right thumb is soooo sore from all of today's activities.

two hours past due

But they are all done! Now, I'm off to see the Wizard.

second to last

I love the bright, happy colors in this one. Possibly my favorite. Now I am about to start on the last one, which is red.
Can I go to see the wizard when I'm done?

near lee done

Although the quality of the photography is getting worse, I am nearing the end of sewing for all the little munchkins. There are two more dresses remaining. Deadline is Sunday. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have a wholelotta extraneous stuff to deal with.

seven and a half down

Down to the wire now. I have six dresses to make in a week.
That's basically one a day.
Today I got this one and half of another done.
Oh, Lord I am tired of sewing!
Though I do really love this apron!!

Here are some of the dresses I have been working on for the past couple of weeks.

sneak peek

Here is the bodice with one arm attached (aka the most difficult project I've done in awhile) of the first of three Lullaby League Munchkin costumes. The colors did not show true in the photo (pale pink/hot pink), but you get the idea. That @#%*@ sleeve took me all day.
